Ramp Check di Terminal Bus Kalideres

340 Kalideres Intercity Buses Inspected for Holiday Safety

Kalideres Terminal has inspected 340 intercity buses ahead of the 2025/2026 holiday season to ensure passenger safety. While most vehicles passed the ramp check, 16 buses were declared not roadworthy due to technical failures like bald tires and poor braking.

Kalideres Terminal Head, Nur Prasetyo confirmed that the checks—covering everything from fire extinguishers to driver health—are mandatory for all departing fleets.

"We want to ensure every bus leaving this terminal is in top condition for the Christmas and New Year rush," he expressed, Monday (12/22).

According to him, bus operators must fix all mechanical issues before their fleets can return to service. Prasetyo warned that failing buses will stay grounded until they are fully repaired.

Travelers using Kalideres Terminal are also encouraged to stay safe and prioritize their well-being. A free clinic has been opened at the terminal to assist passengers.

"We are providing a free medical post for everyone’s convenience. Our aim is to deliver top-tier service for all holiday travelers," he said.
